The end of semester show done at the end of every semester. Ive gotten to perform many different pieces from ballet to modern to pointe etc.

In the fall of 2019 IÂ got to be apart of the annual dance concert as a rehearsal assistant to Deborah Goodman as she set the historical "Water Study" choreographed by Doris Humphrey on our dancers.

DANCE COMPOSITION SHOWCASE
Prior to my injury in 2018 I was casted in and rehearsed two pieces for the comp showcase, sadly didn't get to perform them due to injury but I still got to watch and observe many different rehearsal processes as the pieces became show ready. Last spring I was casted in three pieces for the showcase and again didn't get to perform them do to the pandemic but still got to experience three different rehearsal processes and learn some really cool student choreography.

HOW TO SCREAM IN COLOR
Prior to my injury in the spring semester of 2018 IÂ took part in Abby Darrow's piece for the Loyola University Museum of Art. Although IÂ didn't get to perform with the cast I still got to be apart of the rehearsals and watching Abby's creative process.

DANCE OF THE DOUBLE HELIX- USING DANCE FOR SCIENTIFIC COMMUICATION
This was the first time I participated in dance film and it was a really cool experience. We got to become something other than human and exemplify these scientific topics and show a simplified way of how things work inside the body.

Being apart of this separate organization has been really valuable to my development in the dance major. This is my second consecutive year being the secretary for this organization. Because of this I have been able to be apart of 4 NEDA walks, I got to volunteer for Sarah's Circle, and take many different master classes with guest artists, i have also helped throw events and fundraise for ourselves and different organizations.  I am learning a lot about leadership and involvement within our school and community.

ANNUAL DANCE CONCERT
I got the opportunity to participate in the annual dance concert and got casted in the historical work "Rooms". This work is originally choreographed by Anna Sokolow and I am very grateful I get the chance to dance such a significant piece.

I got to be apart of three different creative processes and pieces for this dance concert ranging from traditional modern techniques to theatrical jazz.

ASSISTANT COSTUME DESIGNER
I got the opportunity to be the assistant costume designer for the dance concert in the fall of 2021. I got to work closely with our schools talented costume shop and help design construct and fix all of the costumes used for the dance concert.
